As a way for us to demonstrate how much we care about our customers we provide them with a custom first-aid kit that includes everything from batteries to a spare laptop. This solution helps our customers get back to work quickly if technology decides to break and it also helps Digux eliminate a costly reactive I.T. support emergency. This is a product Digux is actively rolling out to our existing customer base in addition to all new customers.
The contents in our first-aid kit varies. For example some of our customers may already have a spare computer at their business and that is awesome and is something we highly recommend. If they don’t, Digux will temporarily provide a spare computer until they can make the investment themselves later on. Other items our customers can find in the first-aid kit is an extra keyboard, mouse, monitor, battery backup a.k.a UPS, cables, DVD’s, USB drive, and dual monitor adapters of all types for versatility. We have all sorts of items that come in handy in a pinch during our pursuit to help our customers stay productive at work.
This project has been fun as we purchased a 3D printer so we could create our logo and “brand” our first-aid kits. We used AutoCAD to create the design then imported the files into the MakerBot desktop software to finalize the printing. We then found a compatible clipboard for the sign-in/sign-out sheet and used Gorilla glue to attach these items to the lid of the durable Rubbermaid bin.
